We lost our sweet Gracie in August which was a tough time, but then out of nowhere came Piper, a little 5 pound poodle. Poodle? Yep. You know how pets come. They choose you. We really had no choice. Her name's Piper. She is turning out to be a little sweetheart. After having big ranch dogs that run outside and roll in stinky stuff, it's really easy having a little indoor pooch.
I've retired now, and enjoying the freedom of owning my own mind. I have more time to smell the roses. Because of this, I've become disturbed by all of the negative in the world. The current Presidential Campaign is getting to me already.
Al and I have made a resolution to focus on positive in our retirement and nothing else. I intend to be positive and motivational in all aspects of my life. These are behaviors that we have always tried to live by, but even more so now that we own our lives. Why waste a minute on negative people or entities when we don't have to? The hardest part has been not commenting on the nasty and negative things that pass by in every average day. No more. Today is a good one!
